My mother has lived in her apartment building for over 10 years and it was always clean and smelled nice until they changed companies shortly after she moved in, then it became unpleasant to visit because it seemed like it was never cleaned. I would hold my breath when I entered the building until I got to my mom's apt. I recently came back to move my mom and there was a wonderful new company doing to cleaning. They wipe everything down, vacuum each day (never once seen any of the other companies doing any work) and I must say it looks and smells great.
